January 9, 2008 - The 2007 Fall sports season has come to end, and our winter athletic teams are in the midst of a competitive season. All BHS fall teams gathered to celebrate their seasons in style.

As an athletic program Braintree began their 2007-2008 athletic season with a cumulative 131-141-29, with the varsity programs finishing at 47-89-5. Despite the overall losing record, BHS won a state title and captured a league championship.

The Varsity Cheerleading team wiped the competition winning the Danvers Falcons Invitational Championship, the Bay State Conference Championship, the MSSAA Division 1 South Championship, and the Division 1 State Championship. They will compete this winter at the National Championship event in Orlando, Fl.

Equally impressive was the BHS Varsity Dance squad, who again captured first prize at the New England Dance Championship. They also will be heading to Orlando for the National Competition. The Girls Varsity Volleyball team again found themselves qualifying for the MIAA district tournament after completing a very successful season, finishing with a 16-5 record.
